CUTANEOUS ANGIOSARCOMA OF FACE AND SCALP

SUMMARY

The Angiosarcoma of face and scalp is a vascular, rare and very aggressive tumor affecting elderly people, clinically characterized by red or violet plaques or nodules, that frequently ulcerates and infects, with a bad prognosis and which elective treatment is not established yet. In this article we report the case of a 68 year-old woman who consults for an infiltrate bruise-like plaque in scalp since four months ago. The histologic study shows a proliferation of anastomossed vessels and pleomorfic endothelial compatible with angiosarcoma. The pertinent literature is revised
